BREAKING NEWS!!!

It's been a very long run with our podcast, J.A.R. Radio. We all have agreed and decided that it is time for J.A.R. Radio to come to an end. No there is no new episode for us to all to express how we feel or why it's come to and end, but I do have a little something for all the fans and everyone to read. I turned what was our Skype chat into a bit of an interview except without all the questions. It's pretty much straightforward and just something to let the fans know we still care, they are the ones that got us this far. Enjoy reading the interview.

Mike: J.A.R. Radio has had a good run and has gone on longer than I could have imagine.

J: Yeah, good times, though I'm confident we could do more shows, possibly as Radio Mike?

Mike: Perhaps in the future if any of us feel like recording. We could just name it something neutral so that if somebody quits or something it could still continue. Probably wasn't a good idea to name the show after someone but then again nobody thought it would end this way.

It benefits us all because now that we take this out of the timeslot we can all go on doing other things and not have to worry about being on the computer at a certain time to record, especially with the time zones. Nobody has to record late. This definitely gives me alot of time because I spent numerous hours on the show just between Friday and Saturday, that basically was my weekend.

I think life got the best of us. In the beginning when we all started out we all made sure to be on time and the energy was really high and you could tell that we were happy to be recording. I don't think we've had that energy recently, probably for the last couple of shows. They were good it's just to me that it wasn't the same as the beginning.

Ali: yea i feel the same thing man

J: That makes sense, at some point in time we just began to think of JR as this ordeal we had to push through every weekend, that's what I'm thinking happened

Mike: Yeah, at some times we were just doing it to just get it over with. We didn't want to let the fans down or go another week without no show so we'd set our emotions aside and just do it. Even though we all have felt at one point the, I don't want to do the show tonight but I don't want to let the guys down, we still pulled through and made it happen.

J & Ali: Agreed

Ali: i think that one of the things that got us during the show was that we started talking to much about our lives, forgetting that the point was to have fun instead of talking about how our lives are each week. It almost became like a documentary. I was looking back at the the first time i came in. we didnt talk at all about our lives. all we talked about was monster and i think that was the most fun show

Mike: You are definitely correct on that one my friend. I thought the part of fun was just telling funny or interesting stories that happened to us during the week but we ended up talking about other things that took away from that. It was still there but other things got in the way making it come off not the way we wanted.

Ali: yea definitely

J: Ali makes a good point, recently we'd been struggling to find stuff to say, when in reality it's all about improv and having fun, it's the same as when you have conversation with someone in real life, you don't plan out what you're going to say to each other!

Mike: That's true you just go with the flow. That's when the most hilarious things tend to happen.

J: Exactly, if we record something else, we're improvising

Mike: We were turning it as if we all were actually getting paid to do this show or something xD

J & Ali: Haha, yeah.

Mike: I was thinking about just doing one last show but it wouldn't be right. We ought to leave it where it is and just let it fade away.

J: Yeah, though I don't know how that might go with the fans. I suppose we should record a closing show if we get a lot of questions about it

Mike: Not sure we will though because there no telling how many fans are still around. There was no really way of telling how many people actually listened to the show, although I'm sure there was a group that listen to every show. That's the only bad thing about it was that I was spending alot of time recording, editing and all that what if there was only a few listeners and I wasted all that time you know, makes me wonder a bit.

Ali: even if there were only a few fans, i dont think it was wasted time. We went in doing this as a way to have fun, mostly for ourselves. We have met a few cool people along the way and formed a good friendship among ourselves

Mike: That is true, we're all like brothers. Exactly like a band. I'm sure there's going to be a time when one of us wants to get together and start something else from scratch to have fun with, another show that is. A more well organized and stress free show.

Ali: maybe the makings of Monster Radio?

J: We're definitely following up on that. Monster Radio, grab a sponsorship from Monster themselves if possible, corporations like to have good advertisement

*Special Message*

Yep, you guessed it, guys. J.A.R. Radio's officially being retired. We felt we'd stretched it's life as far as we could, and thanks to you all, it was an amazing run. We had awesome times together, and we're glad all our memories are preserved as mp3s! :P Stick around, we'll likely be back sooner than you think!
